Steps on the PATH

I am awake, I am alive, and this morning I am smiling at the thought of two more groups taking steps on their reconciliation journey.

First, St. Clair College as it supports indigenous women studying there to remember, embrace, and enjoy their inherent strength, an endurance and resolve carried deep inside their blood memory.

Then, it is on to Biigtigong Nishnaabeg to assist educational professionals in the area to up their game by ensuring they have the information they need to best support the indigenous students in their care.

It is good, very very good to envision the sacred feather healing, the feather that represents non-indigenous on one side and all the work they must do, and the indigenous on the other and the healing we must do.

And all of it takes place one step at a time.

Join me on the journey, my friend. Is your community, municipality, or industry doing the work? If not, if you are unsure what to do, reach out. I am always just an email away.

I love you!
