I am awake, I am alive, and today my journey continues as once again, I attempt to support and inspire those that come next.

I smiled as I typed those words, realizing how that truly is my work now. Although I am sure there are goals left for me to achieve and mountains for me to climb just to cherish the amazing view they offer, my focus is on those that come next for this work will not be done in this lifetime.

So this morning, class #3 of the college course I am teaching. Then quality time with my son as he prepares to overcome a challenge that has held him back for far too long. Then finally, convo with a friend as the day comes to a close.

It just does not get much better than that.

Today, my friend, join me. Inspire someone else. Encourage someone else. Befriend someone. Comfort someone. In a world that teaches “Me Me Me” dare to think of someone else but please, don’t save anyone for that in itself is so disempowering.

Instead be the reason someone else believes in themselves more by day’s end. Give to others what you wish you had received. You have the power.

And it does not get much better than that.
