Pandemic Consciousness …

I am awake, I am alive, and this morning I am so thankful for the “forced consciousness” that is this pandemic.

Auto-pilot has always been a threat as far as I am concerned. Going through day-to-day as an automaton will get you the happiness a robot enjoys – none. But to consciously live – to think, make decisions, and actively participate in their execution, THAT is living. That is life.

This pandemic has so many thinking of their previously unconscious actions. Now many carefully watch dimes and quarters where previously even dollars were spent blindly. Now we consciously note how close we stand to another and what we touch when outside the sanctities of our homes … and we cherish home more than ever.

Personally, I love the weighing of pros and cons, the decision-making process that has me firmly in charge of my life inside a world I never did control. It is after all reality, a reality that has always been even if some are now just realizing.

So this is me, looking forward to yet another day of decision-making, another day of deciding where my line is. Which of course begs the question, where is yours my friend? How much do you do? How far do you go? Who do you see? What is too far?

Decide … for in the decision is found the life.

I love you! HUGSSSSSSSSSSS
