Doing Laps …

I am awake, I am alive, and this morning I am thinking of this next “lap” (known as “a week” by those into calendars). For me, thinking in terms of laps works better and here’s why …

Laps are short. You can screw up a lap and not lose the race. You can have a bad lap and keep going. Losing a year could be extremely detrimental to one’s health or business or any type of goal. Losing a week/lap? A valuable learning experience.

So this is me acknowledging that last lap this tush spent a little too much time in my chair. This is me acknowledging that even my new watch is reminding me that “my circles need some lovin'”. This is me determined to make this lap a WINNER.

So how did you do last lap my friend? Was last week a winner for you? If not, no guilt. No shame. (Those don’t help.) No condemnation. No namecalling (those guarantee a lousy next lap). Instead, breathe in and try again.

Together, let’s do this! We all deserve this lap to be a great lap!

I love you! HUGSSSSSSSSSS
