All About Them …

I am awake, I am alive and … this morning I am again smiling, thankful for the amazing dreams of late.

Last night, I was set to teach a college class, live, in the classroom, the way we use to do things. It was a class for indigenous by indigenous yet somehow I was running late. (Are you ready for it?) I had to show up so I did … wrapped in a bath towel.

But my strange attire changed nothing. If anything, it highlighted that this time, the words, the teachings shared had nothing to do with me and everything to do with the activists in front of me. The engagement was as high as the interest and it felt good, really good.

A scheduled coffee break and then their turn to share and share they did – of their desires, their hopes, the hurdles they had cleared and the mountains yet to climb. At class end many stayed to talk privately (as often happens after one of my seminars). And then, it was my turn to leave, smiling in satisfaction at how well the class had gone.

The smile remains as does the teaching of the dream – it is not about appearance – outfits or hair styles. It is about the receiver and the quality of the message shared. So this is me, vowing to SHOW UP today, even if that means all I am wearing is a bath towel.

#Perfect

I pray you show up today my friend. It is, after all, the only way to truly live each precious day.

I love you! HUGSSSSSSSSSS
