Preparing NOW for the Future!

I am awake, I am alive, and this morning, as I begin this day, my mind seems focused on health and healing …

As a trainer/group facilitator, COVID-19 means adjusting things – ensuring we are not passing objects at conference, ensuring we distance ourselves from those coughing, ensuring we think carefully about where we travel, ensuring we wash and sanitize our hands and surfaces we touch regularly.

It is the wise thing to do.

Communique from World Health Organization on steps can be found here – https://www.who.int/…/getting-workplace-ready-for-covid-19.…

Yet even with all that in mind, I am still smiling over yesterday’s session, over the BELLY LAUGHS that left my stomach hurting and my heart full. Laughter can be so beautiful and so healing and yesterday it truly was.

Today, I hit the road again, this time north to Dryden, Ontario and the Paawidigong First Nation Forum Youth Conference. Tomorrow I will work with the youth, preparing them for a world that is theirs to inherit, showing them what to be aware of and how to use their voices to ensure they have a say before it is too late.

It is our sacred responsibility after all, to prepare those that come next, to ensure they have the skills to survive the world we handed them … COVID-19 and all.

Sobering thought … and this is definitely a good time to get sober.

The journey continues.

Stay safe my friend. I want you here with me for a long, long time to come.

HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I love you!
