I am awake, I am alive, and this morning I am smiling as I consider possibilities …
Yesterday, a safe outdoor visit with a friend, far enough away to be safe, close enough to share laughter and stories (possibility #1). It was so amazing to see her again, as it truly has been far too long.
We connected, we shared, yet we did not touch. Honestly, I struggled not to hug her as I left but I didn’t. I also didn’t let that one denial take away from the awesomeness of the visit.
And during our time together, her husband arrived home, her partner of 25 years. To watch his kindness, his love, his interest, his caring for his very intelligent, very outspoken, very opinionated and strong wife (possibility #2) had me smiling from the soul. He joined our convo at one point, again safely distant, adding to the awesomeness.
And yesterday, I sent out my email to my list, informing them of the new Covid Safety standards I have implemented for my small group events. Today, I will post same on my website because small events are again possible.
Time will tell. Numbers must be watched and measured but at SOME POINT this will end. After all, even the darkest night eventually does. But if we are wise, we will awaken wiser, more informed, and more intelligent as we go about our lives, now fully aware that global opportunities bring with them global challenges as well, the two sides to any feather.
Me – I am excited. I am happy and I can’t WAIT to see what this day and the next and the next bring because there is nothing I love more than POSSIBILITY!!
It is possible my friend, whatever that crazy dream you desire is. You got this. You can do it. Just believe … then get moving. Belief + consistent action = success.
Just make sure what you are building isn’t some nightmare you insist on focusing on, for that too can happen. The journey continues …
