I am awake, I am alive and today we are thrilled, as a family, to celebrate the first of many special family days that will occur this year – this being the birthday of my eldest grandchild.

As a result, I am reminded of the circle of life – how we are born, grow and mature, until one day we leave behind those that come next.

In my mind, it is always all about those that come next.

So on this day, I will laugh and love and celebrate one of the youngest members of our family tree while I think of so many out there who shine like diamonds in the eyes of those who love them.

And I will think of all of those who need so many more to love them.

The journey continues, not with work today, but with celebration because as always, my mantra is to #celebrateandsurvive

Celebrate today my friend. I am positive there is something or someone in your life worth celebrating.
