I am awake, I am alive, and today I am simply grateful, not just for all that I have but also, all that is to come …
I am so grateful for the slower pace to this upcoming week, a pace that will allow me the time to savour and enjoy each portion.
I am grateful that I will again be able to see my students after a week without them.
I am thankful for the work that awaits me, work that makes a difference, work that helps those I care about.
And most of all, I am so very thankful for the opportunity to do this work from home without need for travel or risk.
So much to be grateful for in the future, a perfect thought pattern to add to my gratitude for today and for the lessons of the past.
Today, my friend, don’t dread tomorrow. Find the promise in it, see the gifts, then anticipate them like the eternal child on Christmas Eve.
I love you! HUGSSSSSSSSSS
