Today I celebrate the love of a woman who does things “just cuz her husband likes it that way” and the man who does things “just because his wife likes them that way”. They have each other’s backs no matter what.

They are my brother and sister-in-law and they have loved for decades and that love will continue, today and always.

And then there’s the woman who sometimes forgets how amazing she is but no matter, for her husband never forgets and he has no problem reminding his beautiful wife. They are growing together, in love, in life and it is a true joy to see.

They are my daughter and son-in-law and their love created my grandchildren and for that I am eternally grateful.

So yes, I may be single but who said Valentines Day had to be about me? I believe it’s about love and I have examples of the best kind all around me.

And that my friend, is worth celebrating.
