Day 41 – More Than a Toy

I am awake, I am alive and this morning I am smiling as I contemplate the idea that we are so many things to others …

I think many women can relate to being a plaything for another human (especially if you wished to be more).

To teens, parents are often seen as a source of funds, rides, and frustration.

To friends, we may be a source of solace or fun or companionship or all of the above.

We may be seen as a bank or a financial drain on others if addictions rear their ugly head and on and on the list goes.

I was reminded of this fact this morning as I woke to a kitten who mistook me for a trampoline. Yes, to him I was a toy but I know, at other times, I am also a source of sustenance and a source of comfort. In all these instances, I am totally okay with how Stormy sees me.

And you my friend, how do the people in your world see you? I pray you are surrounded by those who cherish you, who love and need you, those who realize how lost they would be without you.

I know I would be.

The journey continues …

I love you!
HUGSSSSSSSSSS
