Day 2 …

I am awake, I am alive as Day Two of Lockdown here in Ontario begins (2 weeks for us northerners, a month for friends down south).

I slept in. A rare occurrence ended only because furmate did not appreciate her delayed breakfast. I laid there in those first few moments, unsure if the lack of desire to rise was a good or bad thing. Rest is good after all. No reason to get up, however, is not a friend so … I got up.

Now I type to you as I savour the coffee and plan the day while praying no more snow is on the way. That last dump overwhelmed by contractor, forcing him to let me go as a customer so he can focus on the side of the city he resides in (not my side). Unfortunately, shovelling snow and my neck are not a great combo so worry is attempting to settle in. I must find something else to focus on before it does.

So this is me, counting blessings like how amazingly cute my furmate is, how great this coffee tastes and how it did not snow last night. That’s three and I very good start to the day in my mind!

Can you name three my friend? I am dying to hear.

Until then, take care of you.

I love you! HUGSSSSSSSSSSS
Sandi
