I am awake, I am alive, and this morning I can think of only one thing – my mission – to assist to train the next generation of warriors because I think many of us parents got it wrong.

We wanted things easier for our kids. We wanted them to face less hurdles, to have to overcome less, so we took all our time and energy and used it to bring down barriers without ever taking the time to train the warriors.

But no matter who you are, you cannot foresee the future. The next generation will face mountains we cannot imagine and they will have barriers to overcome. Our job – equip them for the journey.

How? Easy enough. Teach them to believe in themselves. Teach them to question. Teach them to weigh pros and cons. Teach them to learn from mistakes. Teach them how to get back up.

My Mom had no idea how to run a business but her warrior training prepared me to face any hurdle and it worked. Now I just wish I had done as good a job with my own. But time was limited. Bills had to be paid so I worked and I did my best to make their life easier.

Oh oh …

The journey continues. I have me some warriors to train.
