I am awake, I am alive, and like so many this morning (I imagine), I am excited because TODAY the 2021 journey begins in earnest!

Like so many returning to work or school today, my day includes the first class of one of two courses I will be teaching at our local college this semester. I am PUMPED to meet my students, to learn of their journeys, to hear their voices, to be part of the foundation on which they will build their futures. So the question of today is, are you?

Because truth be told, you are or will be part of the lives of everyone you interact with today. You can be someone who is remembered as being welcome and supportive, someone who listened, someone who helped another believe in themselves or not. The choice as always is up to you.

As Mom would say, “With every word, with every action, you are an example. You get to choose of what”.

So my friend, today what will you be an example of?

Me, I’m go for “example of someone who dared to dream, who didnt let barriers stop them”.
